Our Story

This is not a traditional marketplace. We are united by a singular, obsessive goal: to redefine the relationship between the table and the soil. Founded by chef Jonathan Karpathios and entrepreneur Xander Meijer, The Farm Kitchen was born from a shared belief that food should not cost the earth, but enrich it. We exist to bridge the gap between world-class producers and those who value the story, the struggle, and the science behind their food.

The Model

We act as a collective, not a middleman. By pre-financing the harvest directly, we provide our farmers the stability to prioritize quality and land restoration over industrial volume. Your purchase is a direct investment in a resilient food system where the producer retains authorship of every bottle.

Why We Do It

Our obsession is "flavor with backbone." We believe true luxury is found in ingredients treated with respect—those that are chemically and biologically vibrant. Whether it is early-harvest olive oil or wild-harvested salt, we source for vitality. We bring you "gold that gives back," because great food should nourish you while healing the soil it came from.

How we do it

We source through presence, not catalogs. Our team joins the harvests, working side-by-side with our producers to verify their commitment to "no shortcuts, no volume games". We build direct, human relationships, selecting only those who demonstrate radical integrity, from the health of their soil to the precision of their press.
