Returns & Exchanges

At The Farm Kitchen, we treat our olive oil and sea salt as living products. Because of their nature, we apply a clear policy regarding returns, balancing your rights as a consumer with the integrity and safety of our food.

Unopened Products

If you have received an order and wish to return it, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, provided the products remain in their original, unopened, and sealed condition.

As these are food products, we can only accept returns if the seal is completely intact. Once the seal has been broken, the product is no longer in a resalable state and cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

Opened Products

We do not accept returns or refunds on products that have been opened or used. We trust that you understand that our oils and salts are batch-specific and intended for consumption; once opened, we cannot guarantee the quality or safety required to restock or repurpose them.

Damaged or Defective Items

We take great care in packaging our harvests to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. However, if your package arrives damaged or if you receive a product that is defective, please contact us immediately at info@thefarmkitchen.nl.

We will assess the situation and, if necessary, provide a replacement or a refund. Please include a photo of the damaged shipment so we can address the issue with our carrier.

How to Initiate a Return

If you meet the criteria for a return (unopened, sealed, within 14 days of receipt), please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@thefarmkitchen.nl with your order number and the reason for your return.

  2. We will provide you with the return instructions.

  3. Please ensure the items are packed securely, as we cannot be held responsible for goods damaged during return transit.

  4. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Once we receive the returned items in their original, unopened condition, we will process your refund via the original payment method within 14 days.
